What is EAA Young Eagles?
The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people, ages 8 - 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
So what will your flight be like?
The biggest question on your mind might be about the actual flight. So what should you expect?
But your Young Eagles Flight is just your first step into the exciting world of aviation.....
The EAA has now launched a 5 step program called the Young Eagles Flight Plan.
Step 1 Young Eagles Flight - Introductory flight and Young Eagles Logbook.
Step 2 Free EAA Student Membership. (Includes EAA's Sport Aviation magazine and much more.)
Step 3 Sporty's complete flight training course. (Free online course to prepare for FAA written exam.)
Step 4 Free flight lesson voucher. (Upon completion of Part 1 of the online course.)
Step 5 Flight Training Scholarships. (EAA Student Members have access to flight training and college scholarships through EAA!)
